2024/25 David Moyes

You have to wonder if he is sabotaging the team on purpose to reduce expectations going into the new stadium whilst trying a few things to get some more learning on the current squad. Beto has to start, yet for the second time on the bench. Keane should never be on the pitch, yet replaced tarks. Mcneill should not play on the right, yet played him on the right. Took gana off...out best midfielder by some marging. Chermiti is not getting any time on the pitch which is surprising considering is ours, broja isn't.
Moyes had terrible game management in this one. Honestly a very tinfoil argument, but interesting nonetheless. Moyes is tempering expectations lads. Bebs called it. Bookmark this post.

Squad experimentation might not be what everyone likes, or wants, but that’s what’s happening. Nothing riding on these games so the manager is trying different things, most of which won’t work because the squad is still awful. Good news is that some of you deluded idiots can moan for the rest of the season about how terrible things are under Moyes.
The experimentation was there to be started when Tarkowski came off injured. It didn't happen.

Think Moyes kind of went for the win with that set of substitutes which is fine, it’s a dead rubber, hanging on for a point isn’t really important. They just never had the ball the last 20 minutes.

I don’t think Gana comes off if they’re still in the relegation scrap, put it that way.

I said this last week. Moyes is either purposely using players incorrectly or its a major worry

Worry how much there is to do really considering how ineffective we are getting players. Nothing is stopping the recruitment team to start planning now, even try to sign players now like chelsea has done...yet we kind of know that there will be no signing until well into the summer.

I expected that we'd be seeing action already but with no Thelwell who is meant to sign the players?

The bloke who pissed up £500mil at West Ham?

Good question...dont even know if we have a replacement for thelwell already lined up...surely the club know the squad situation and how big and crucial recruitment is going to be in the next few months.

What was the thinking behind Gueye getting subbed?

He's on a yellow card? He's been on yellows in the first half of games and stayed on the pitch this season.
