2024/25 David Moyes

Just read the bit where David Moyes describes Bramley Moore Dock as "our fabulous new stadium". Couldn't have imagined that a week ago. He wasn't my choice but I will get behind him and the team and I guess we will see where we are in 2 and a half years time. Deja vu.

Koeman, Silva and Big Sam all got 8th finishes. They were all sacked before given a chance to build.

All spent a lot more money and all didn't do enough to keep their jobs. We aren't a big club anymore - I don't really know who you expected us to appoint mid season in a relegation battle. The best managers aren't coming and the ones with potential are a massive risk.

Clinging onto a past that is no longer relevant for where we are as a club. Just because you saw us lift trophies in the 80s doesn't mean we have any right to now.

People like you told us that Moyes wasn't good enough at the time yet since he's left every manager has done a worse job than him.
None of those managers were given a proper run, Moyes would have been sacked when he finished 17th at that rate. Silva and Koeman should have been given longer spells.

Maybe they should have but they weren't and Moyes was. He took that opportunity to build a really good team with very little money.
