Still a little weird Saudi went for Newcastle over West Ham. Would have thought they would be primed for a takeover especially with the money behind that group who bought Newcastle.

Buying Newcastle meant they are on the ground and the city will be behind them if they do well there.
They can leverage that into investing across the whole city. While West Ham is just a football team using a Govt funded stadium.
