To add a bit of balance though have you never spoke to an opposition fan at the game or a mate who goes every week and said "blah blah always looks decent for you " and they've replied with surprise ? I know the footy coverage has altered that but sometimes those on the outside don't always have the best view. Lee Clark at Huddersfield everyone ranted and raved when he got sacked except the Huddersfield fans who were made up and whose never manager (since sacked) got them promoted which Clark hadn't managed.

No doubt about it. I had someone say we should take a chance on that Matt Smith, I said "I've heard from Oldham fans that dont even rate him". Professional pundits should have more of a clue though
