He seems to love it here and looks like he really wants to stay, which is fantastic. Appeard to have a solid season in the under 21's, Sign him up Bobby

The Echo reporting this now:

'David Henen is likely to stay at Everton beyond this summer, according to the striker’s agent.

The Belgian has spent this season on loan at Goodison Park, playing in the Blues’ U21 squad, but is now due to return to parent club Olympiacos.

But the 19-year-old’s representative, Christophe Henrotay, says he is due to meet with Roberto Martinez soon, and says the indications are that Henen will stay on Merseyside.

He said: “I have to quickly meet Martinez. But all the signals go in the direction of exercising the option (of a permanent deal).”

Henrotay added: “He really changed beyond all recognition. The reports of Martinez and the U21 coach are very favourable. Both praise his mentality, his involvement and his integration.”

Henen, who joined Olympiacos from Monaco last summer, scored nine goals in 19 appearances at U21 level for Everton, but failed to make a senior outing.'

In what other self respecting premier league club would these talks not have happened in the last month...? Our recruitment is a joke.

I don't think we'll have any at the end of next season if Henen isn't here. I see Romelu asking to move on to bigger and better things.
Think it depends on who makes offers for Kev - not sure working under Pochettino's two sessions a day fitness regime would suit Kev's hamstrings so think it would need to be a foreign club. Dotrmund and Atletico would interest him but would they be willing to offer what we would want as a selling price?

Agree Rom is likely to go next summer.

But few players stay at any club much more than 3 years these days anyway.
