Me too - he seems a nice lad, was delightfully enthusiastic about signing for us and his friendship with Galloway has probably helped both players settle.

He needs some further development before he's ready formthe first team from the games I've seen him in. It could well be that the coaches decided that a preseason with the U21s who he is familiar with might be a better start for him personally before he heads out on loan and better for the U21 team itself as they struggled a little towards the end of the year. Winning all but one of their preseason games must have given all the lads involved quite a bit of confidence.
Think he got annoyed being touted by Anderlecht to all the "Big" clubs in Europe , one of my mates works as a translator in Rotterdam (a Blue) he has been going on about Henen for the last 2 years ! Couldn't believe it when we actually signed him ....fingers crossed !

If Lukaku is out will this lad get on the bench ? I know he'll go with Kone ! but would prefer anybody other than him

No he's not further behind in his development, that's nonsense
Sorry for off topic

I meant in terms of players around the same age at the club.

Galloway is in the first team picture, stones was before him. Barkley was first team, lukaku 20? Del was loaned as a teenager etc.

whereas henan is deemed to have to go on loan to Fleetwood for his development. There is a difference there!
