Aye, I'm hoping folk suggesting violence are jesting. Even so, that's a bit far as well really.
In his defence he was never a fan of Richard Gough, Duncan Ferguson or Steven Naismith either so I don't think it's playing position that triggers him.

Thank God for @davek. This place would be inordinately happy-clappy after a few wins without his provision of often unwelcome balance. Troubling as some of his opinions are, he very often tends to be correct in the long run (that's why they are troubling). And even if he is sadly wrong, he brings a level of hilarity that I, for one, am grateful for.
This place needs a spritz of bitter citrus to balance the saccharine sentimentality and happy-clappy fanboyism.
