I'm all for innocent until proven guilty (the Sun ffs) but if he is guilty then I don't think you can pass it off as one of those things, like everyone's done it at some point.

Hitting someone with a car because you were drunk driving isn't a jokey little matter. It's hideous. If I ever do something so reckless and stupid in my life I know I won't deserve any sympathy. It's a horrifically irresponsible way to ruin or even end lives.

Apparently he hit a bike, drove off and then crashed into some petrol pumps, all while he was over the limit and at 9:45 in the morning. Wonder how we're going to react to this
