I don't think pay as you play deals are actually legal.

Maybe a contract heavily weighted towards appearance fees might be the best way to go.

He does need to leave, its unacceptable now. I was all for giving him a chance as hes a decent player on his day but he could free up some salary budget for a player who can actually string a few games together.

It is getting a bit silly now, I except that players have injuries and spells out but Gibson has had ample chances and just as he manages to string a couple of games together you get the sense his legs are going to fall off. Much as I want every player to do well I think enough is enough. He's not fit for pre-season and the omens are not looking good already for next season.

What's the latest on Darren, is his rehabilitation nearly complete yet? Probably the only midfielder who can pick a forward pass ( when fit which isn't very often )

Back by the end of this month i think roberto said the other day.

Cleverlys passing has been pretty decent

Cheers mate. I think Cleverley has done great, but isn't the answer to what we require currently. Very neat and tidy player though and he impressed me.with his work rate today as well.

Half the players in the conference and damn near everyone lower down the ladder are on such a deal.

He should be the replacement for Barry, who ought to play a bit-part role this season.

We should also never, ever, EVER* play more than two of McCarthy, Barry, Cleverley or Besic at any one time. *Unless we're two up and under pressure with 10 mins to go.
