Personally never doubted his ability but the fact is he is the least likely of all our players to be able to play 10 matches in a few months without breaking down for ages. Sad but true. Just wish we could keep him fit as he is a bloody good player.

If he can put his injury problems behind him it's a midfield 3 of Gibson, Besic and McCarthy for me.

For a start garbutt would be against far better wingers against arsenal in sanchez or walcott and i would prefer baines experience. Also i would like us to play 3 in midfield to give us more protection to the back 4 and would prefer two wingers to give us balance in mirallas and lennon. I prefer naismith off the forward instead of on the wing as he is more effective.

Not really just answering the points you made , i would like to see garbutt get a run in the side so we could see how he could cope just think he would struggle against sanchez.

The only problem is you need 12 players in the team to do that.

Watched the game again.

He was boss...just pulling the strings. That ball to Mirallas for the third...wow. Got Garbutt in space with a great touch to start things for the second.
