People always mention Niasse when talking about a waste of money. I reckon Everton has probably wasted just as much in wages and such on DG, as they have on Oumar Niasse.

I personally think he should be given a shot. Very good midfielder when fit and imo he might be able to fix our creative problems until January.

Barry has been woeful, The Clev and McCarthy have been steaming hot garbage, Koeman doesn't seem to rate Davies much and of course the boy Mo is injured. Leaves us with this bloke.

The only reason I can think is to give him some sort of sell on value. Other than that no reason at all for him getting a new contract
