Yeah that needs to improve obviously, but when he's fit he's got one of the best passing ranges in the league.

He actually was fit for a large part of last season, just not used by the manager.

Out of all our mids he probably has the passing range best suited to koemans style. Not a huge fan of his, due to fitness and off the field issues. But, when hes on the pitch hes a good player and worth a shot under Koeman.

We have not been linked with many english players so my guess is it was a case of keeping an option there as a home grown player
