How silly is Gibson to do that after Cole Red card, as soon as seem his leg go high, i knew he was going off.

No fellaini, Coleman and now Gibson.

Both players were looking at the ball, literally the only difference was the position of the other player when Cole/Gibson made contact.

If that's a red card then players need to start looking around them every time they want to challenge for a loose ball on the off chance somebody might get in the way, it's f***ing ludicrous.

I would have been fine with a yellow, but a sending off ? Nah.

Dazzler is a massive loss, no coincidence we have started to pick up three points rather then one more frequently since his return.

Can we not just have a team with Dazzler, Mofro, Belg Kev, Pienaar, and Baines in it for more then a couple of games FFS.

Pathetic reffing today. Disallowing goals that should have stood, giving red cards for questionable yellows, giving goal-kicks when there should have been corners. Diabolical.

the problem with that is that when felli jumps up for a header and accidently elbows someone, he'll get sent off for intent because "he looked at the player".

all the officials have been laughable this season. I know the game is getting quicker and harder with everyone resorting to cheating, but still. You shouldn't be basing decisions on players' reactions but in none of the 3 major incidents did the opposition complain about the decision. personally ex players should be giving more back into the game that's paid them so well and become a referee after retirement. even only if for a few years, they should be the ones that understand the game more than the current crop of officials.

i know it's a different type of sport with regards to fitness but you see a lot of umpires in cricket who are former players

he missed a lot of yellows for WHU as well. Tomkins should have had one in the first half when he cynically took out pienaar. nolan and someone else should have had yellows as well

Just a thought on his potential ban. If the FA panel can't meet before the boxing day game does that free him to play? If so any ban would then include the cheltenham game which would lessen the blow.

Thought that myself mate, i thought they would be on their Jollys already.

Surely they have something in place as its the busiest fixture schedule of the season.

Dunno if they'll get overturned to be honest. Ref will just say it was dangerous play (which it was) , studs were up, and a few inches higher they're connecting with their heads - especially the Cole one. Almost couldve took Baines' head off
