Gibson seems like he is always calm when on the ball, and not only is just about every pass hitting the target, but they are as far as I can see just about all positive ones, meaning he opens up the defence and sets our wingers and forwarders up with chances.
I bet united wish they had kept him, as they are one of the many clubs now that doesn't have that type of midfielder in the squad.

I reckon he found his level to be honest. he was bang average for us(no offence intended as i hope you guys acc get top 4) however he couldnt keep up with play. he was shoot crazy and never convinced the fans. evident when he created a twitter a nd delited after a few hours cause of abuse.

Believe me mate he batter than cleverly and carrick, he is a quality footballer and maybe he just needed to be with a proper set of fans that support him and make him feel welcome.
I wouldn't swap him for any central midfielder you've currently got, mate.
Fair enought mate but I think he was played out of position for you guys give him time and space to spray balls around your asking for trouble. i rate carrick and clevery but they really dont siut each other. gibson holding for your guys sprayingpasses to valencia and young would be lethal. People think just because your jersey has a certain crest on it that you are automatically going to be better than others. Carrick and Cleverly are good players but right now Gibson is playing better. Doesn't matter what team they play for if you watch it's pretty clear.

He's got better every game he's played for us, to be fair. Think he's someone who need a run to get to know his team mates and needs to feel loved.
His fitness was an issue here when he arrived and he struggled to finish a few games so its obvious that Moyes worked his fitness levels and gave him a specific job to do. Maybe that was a problem at United or maybe he was a startled rabbit caught in the head lights. We can afford (we have no choice) to let a player find his feet at Everton and with time and belief this can work wonders for a player. He is playing as an outlet player and some of his range of passing and quickness in thought have to be admired. Gibsons own admission was he felt welcomed and felt at home almost immediately and this also has a positive affect on certain players. I think the majority of Evertonians would rather have Gibson than Cleverly or Carrick and I am not saying they are shi te players I am saying that they are not all that. Gibson has improved Everton and there style of play so we thank SAF for not recognising a decent player and letting him go for next to nothing and helping us get positive results against you.

Hahaha not sure about Carrick but I really really dont rate Cleverly. If he's England's future along with Welbeck and Sturridge we are even more ****ed.

If we're honest, he's nowhere in Carricks league is he. Carrick is a top midfielder and has don't take my word for it. Look at the England managers and Sir Alex who all really like him.
