Dunno really, but I remember a player not being able to play on the Saturday because he'd signed on the Wednesday or Thursday once so we'd have no chance of Gibson playing.

You appear desperate to be negative about this. It's quite sad really. Yes, there is the wider issue of how far we've come in the last 2 years to be signing someone for Â£500k. There is no disguising the perilous state of the club's finances, and this shows just how bad they are. But to be slating this transfer the way it is being done on here by some people is quite kopite IMO. He would have cost about Â£4m if it wasn't for the fact that he has only 6 months left on his contract. Give the lad a chance to prove himself, and Moyes to get the best out of him. Then make a judgement.
