Positive signs tonight from Gibbo. 25 mins and 45/50 passes completed. With the lads putting the hard work in to get 3-0 up, it was a nice environment for him to come into and get some form going.

By comparison McCarthy was 42/49 and Barry 53/57.

Agreed. Looking tasty is Gibbo. If it is time to give Barry a quick breather stick Gibbo on

I'm Very happy my friend Darron is getting some playing minutes after injury once more. he is very at ease. His main problem is fitness of course! i confess, to say he is not amoung the willing trainers but he is professional like every everton fc player and staff. A problem is gibson loves high calorie food and drinks, takeaways. As his body does have gains in weight very quickly and it slows down his period of recovery and climb into match fitness.

Happy to see get some minutes on the pitch, just a shame it had to come because Barry got hurt.

Gibson is an absolute cracking player, he has the best distribution of anyone in our squad and it's been a shame that so many appear happy to just sell him off or see him languish forever on the bench. If he gets a a run of games then he'll remind everyone just how good he is. I think he'll probably play Sunday now.

Hope Barry is okay though.
