It's because they are incredibly inbred as a breed mate. Got a mate who is a dog handler in the customs and he said that them and Red Setters ( we had one ) are the thickest most inbred dogs going .

Clearly never had a pinscher. The stupidest (but also really charming) dogs I've owned were them...

Not the mini ones as well, the decent sized ones - ours right now is about 7-8kg (or 10-12kg now cuz he's 11 years old this September and had/has health problems limiting his movement, so he's getting fat fast lol).
