Gravesen had in reality one and a half good season for us the first stint. At first he didn't settle in and wanted to leave during the christmas break since he wasn't used to play matches then. But he came through fine after that.

The second stint was woeful.

Read somewhere that an italian outfit wanted to sign him earlier this autumn, but when the fans found out they objected so strongly that the club backed out of the deal..

Half at best, apparently just to get a move!(y)

He was very hit and miss. On his day excellent but when he was bad he was really bad.

Such a naturally gifted player though, his touch and ability to see a killer pass was excellent. He was let down by his awful positioning though, his headless chicken running and his inibility to follow instructions and do the job he was set out to do.

He was a luxury player really which makes me laugh when people used to see him as this tough tackling midfielder.
