Dan Gosling has just featured on The Football League Show, and I think that says it all really.

I hope I'm not being too disrespectful of whatever team he plays for (I wasn't listening) but that's what greed gets you.

Whooooo?????

To paraphrase Marlon Brando in On The Waterfront: "You don't understand. He coulda had class. He coulda been a contender. He coulda been somebody, had I not gone after the money!"

In fairness, Moyes' dithering and transfer wheelings opened the door for an agent to manipulate proceedings.

I happen to think the board got this one right. He had a bad injury and they didn't commit. Given his time at Newcastle it turned out right. We could have spent 4m on someone who never played. It wasn't like we paid a lot for him.

They clearly may have got it right by accident.

Got nothing against him personally. He did agree a deal with us that never materialised.

I always thought he'd go on to be a decent player and might still do so.

I always remember him thanking his "superb legal team" for getting his move to Newcastle, and for that reason, he can go shovel it.

never rated him really, he scored a couple of goals against big teams, but i was just pissed off we paid £1.5m for him and never got a fee back. anyone who thinks newcastle are a better place to be than everton deserve to have a ****e career
