Dan Gosling- A player in the making, or a reputation from one goal?

I think it would be worth giving the lad a few full matches and see how he does .
He at least gets himself into the game , and Osman needs to be dropped until he works harder .
It's no point waiting for someone to pass to you . You must demand the ball , and Osman doesn't do that . Gosling is a good player . Give him the chance .

Hes not got it . It doesnt take long to se if someone has it or not with a football . Squad player is his best shot and i believe he will not be at Everton long

He's still very young, but Rodwell have shown more promise than Gosling. From what I've seen so far I don't think he'll be a player we can build a team around, but a good squad player. He'll probably turn into a better player than Osman if he will continue to get his chances.

"Squad player nothing special." We are all on a downer aren't we? Maybe I'm deluded but what he has shown me when he gets a chance has been nothing short of exceptional. The kid can actually thread a pass next to Arteta on my list and his uncanny positioning on the field is A+. Watch what he does off the ball next time he plays and see what I'm talking about. Rodwell has played more and developed quicker but Gosling is a player and a good one.

Couldnt care less about the derby goal, it was pretty [Poor language removed] the fact that it was deflected twice...

...Ive seen more from him to think he will be good in the future, his goal againt man city, his positioning, he just needs to calm down abit on the ball...

Pretty much the same I feel to be honest.

He doesn't have that bit of skill to become a quality right winger.
