Still amazed we haven't had confirmation. If nothing else, one of our travelling support would have confirmed on here by now.
Everton fans were involved . But don't be fooled into thinking it was how the mirror have portrayed it . Several Newcastle hooligans involved.

Any eye witness stuff from Everton fans yet though?

I'm not doing an RS here either, if it were our "fans", then fair enough. Just seems massively odd to me. We usually hear about anything like this hours before the media do on here.

Martin O'Boyle, who co-wrote Bob Latchford's 30 book, got the train home from Euston after the match last night and said on Twitter that he saw no trouble at all.

I haven't bought a newspaper since 2001. I don't understand why anyone has.
Same here.

Saw nothing on the news last night.

ive already said enough. But when stuff like this happens the media and beauts on Twitter will add fuel to the fire. I'm surprised there wasn't a pregnant women drinking an orange juice outside the pub aswell. That's the usual angle the press use.

Martin is a great guy and I have every respect for him, but unless he was at the scene at the time of the incident, his opinion is no more relevant than mine and I was at home.

It's sort of relevant mate. If this was the equivalent of the London Riots like it's being made out by most of the tossers on social media, then you'd expect those who went the game to have a passing knowledge of it.

Theres no actual respectable source other than a few nobhead geordies.

Our names been took out of most news articles by this morning anyway

A Met spokesman said: 'Two males were arrested for affray and one for GBH.

'One male had slight head injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.'

The spokesman said there was no indication whether the fans were from a particular club............

Telegraph report goes on to say

Inquires are continuing, according to police sources. Detectives are expected to release more details of those arrested and the status of the injured man later today.

So we might get a better idea of what happened later.
