We're getting torn to shreds on multiple different forums about this.

This is a sunderland forum

Its all over twitter. Yet the Police haven't actually confirmed anything about who was arrested.

Some of the stuff they're saying about Everton on these forums/twitter. Unbelievable.

I wasn't even in London today

Doesn't matter what other fans/forums say. Anyone who follows Everton away over many years knows that the vast, vast majority of our support are great supporters - sure we have one or two idiots like anyone else but they don't reflect our club or support.

Its unbelievable the level some people are exaggerating.

Having sat in the paddock for many a year and walked up priory road many a time. I have never once seen a coach have its windows put in.

Yet on there its 'a regular occurence' according to some.

Utterly ridiculous isn't it Mr @the esk

This is the point I'm making.

I've seen total idiot so-called Everton fans robbing a service station (yes. 'very clever' tits doing this - embarrassed all of us that were there) but still that is once. Plus readily admit to seeing it happen.

But there's realism and what I've been reading tonight.

All this prejudice coming out too.

Everton are this... Everton are that. Scousers are this. Scousers are that.

Ridiculous.

Totally agree mate, went to loads of aways between the age of 14-19 and in general always been a fantastic away support where we've always got on with most clubs. An Everton fan bottling a kid? Nope, I'm not having that whatsoever. Wouldn't happen. Reading all the twitter feeds sounds more like the Newcastle fans and qpr fans were having a go at each other. I would be shocked if it's proved that Everton fans without being provoked turned up 50 strong and randomly bottled people. Just doesn't happen.

I've seen idiots at the game. This one time at Hull away some lad from near the front literally was running up the rows grabbing people as he went like he was a Sherpa climbing the stand to get away from the stewards. I didn't see him until he got hold of my collar around the neck using me to climb over. Had I of seen him I'd of pushed him off but I was watching the game. He scratched all my neck the stupid meff. Plus he hurt a load of people in front of me. When the stewards grabbed him.

Another time saw two Everton fans apparently brothers - fighting each other in the stand at Wigan.

Utter morons.

But again in general not seen anything like some of the stuff thats being quoted.

We do have our idiots. But the way its being portrayed you'd think we were IS/ISIL or something

from off there:

I remember Leicester playing Everton at Filbert Street and was walking behind a family of Leicester fans. Mum, Dad, a boy of about 6 and a girl of about 4. There was an Everton man with his son of about 11 and I heard him tell his son to "go and do it". The 11 year old Everton boy then ran behind the 6 year old Leicester boy and punched him in the side of the face totally unprovoked. The little boy screamed and started sobbing.

The Leicester Dad who was respectable and twice the size of the Everton Dad grabbed him and started yelling "your son just hit my son". I grabbed the 11 year old and ragged dolled him a bit and then then the Police came and some Everton fans started getting mouthy but were all fart and no [Poor language removed]. I wish I'd given that boy a proper dig in the solar plexus.

Absolute scumbags.

Funny this one. Treating a story like it would happen with any Evertonian.

I went to Sunderland Uni. Stayed in halls called Clanny House in my first year there. Eldon St after that.

Went to a club called "New Monkey" - 3 lads there learned I was Scouse and started giving me jib, told 'em to do one and at the end of the night (well, about 3 in the morning) got me outside and one Joey Barton'd me with a ciggie to the face, another one about 10 mins later digged me in the face when I was talking to some girl, then they tried to beat the bleep out of me but it was fairly close to Clanny House so I managed to get over the fence and they didn't follow me (yes I ran away but 3 against 1 isn't very good odds like)

Another time I was coming up Hylton Road around 1 in the morning from my girlfriends' on a Saturday night. Can't remember what happened in the footy that day, but Sunderland had a decent win at the time. Anyway, two lads come up and ask me if I can give them a ciggie - "sorry lads, I don't smoke... nice one on the win today though eh". What followed was them telling me I was taking the piss because all scousers smoke and if I didn't give them there's be trouble... kept walking and got a left hook to the eye and my head smashed into a wall for my troubles

I know these incidents (there were others like) make me sound like a poohouse, but even so I really enjoyed my time up there, got on well with mostly everyone and wouldn't discourage others from going up, spending time, etc. based on these and other bad experiences.

If you look at traffic in London going through or anywhere near Kings Cross would be a nightmare. Adds 20mins to the journey to London Euston at least.

Can't wait to see what the addresses are of those charged are.
I'm confused. It's a 5 minute walk between the two stations.
