Neiler

Player Valuation: £100m
Everton have apparently been watching the situation with regard to Russian striker Roman Pavlyuechenko but it's Tottenham who are believed to be the English team who have made a firm enquiry.

The 26 year-old was one of Russia's star players in their run to the semi-finals of Euro 2008 so it's no surprise that he could be leaving Spartak Moscow this summer for one of Europe's premier leagues.
His agent is quoted as saying,

‘At the moment we have received two invitations to negotiate his move. One of them is from an English team.

"Since it’s not a team playing in the Champions League we are more likely than not to reject their offer."

That would seemingly preclude any interest the 6' 2" striker might have in coming to Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have emerged as serious rivals to Barcelona for the signature of Andrei Arshavin who hasn't ruled out Stamford Bridge as an option according to his agent. His value currently stands at a modest £12m but seeing as that is almost all of David Moyes's budget this summer, it doesn't look likely that the Blues are in with much of a shout.

(Highlighted bit is a bit of Toffeeweb freewheel optimisom)!
