So we hired a man who relegated a team and had never been near a top side but we should avoid a man who's won a cup took a crap side to a Europa league final, managed in Germany and Holland and has international experience
He was a risk martinez which worked last season but is backfiring at the moment.
As for doing well in other countries pepe mel and felix magath did and look what happened to them.
Mcclaren for me is a manager who would not do well now in the premier league

Mocking Mcclaren?

Europa league final, won the league cup and a Dutch premier league, managed in Germany and at international level

Took the England job far to early and its set him back

McClaren's a decent manager. He'd probably do quite well here. I doubt he'd have taken us to fifth last season but, on the other hand, I think he'd have managed the injury and lack of form problems we've had this season better than Martinez.

On the whole, there's not much to choose between them, but I think Martinez is a better long term option.

Dire, dire football, though.

He is boro's all time most successful manager and they literally lost thousands off the crowds because of how bad his style is to watch.
