Cycling thread

It is amazing how riders can get in the break back to back days, like it really is all about who has THE LEGS and who does not. That looked like a game-ending effort from Len Kamna yesterday, plus the draining emotional rollercoaster of winning your first ever TdF stage, so you'd think he'd be justified in hanging with the grupetto and going round like a tourist today. But he's put himself right back in the mixer.

Carapaz laying down the panache this week in spades - great to see Kwiato take a GT stage win.

Would be nice to see Porte get on a GT podium in his last race as a team leader but IDK, 100 secs is a lot to overturn. He is a far better timetriallist than Lopez but going up La Planche on Sat would seem to mitigate things in Lopez' favour. Best part of 30K rolling before they hit the main climb though so it is possible.

WVA finished 3rd yesterday after dropping GC riders... Insane
Think he was just mopping the 4 sec time bonus for third so Pog wouldn't get it. Not that it makes a big difference now.

Roglic clearly the strongest man in the race. Wool tattoos don't look right on GT winners IMHO but he got into cycling late so it can't be helped.
