Glad to see I'll still be getting my annual french tourist board travelogue, there'll be plenty of nice scenery and chateaux to look at in September.
Three Brit "espoirs" riding in the current Tour du Limousin.Pidcock should be a legit GC rider - second in World cyclocross champs and winner of world junior TT at low 50s Kg speaks to massive, Contador levels of W/Kg.
Not short on confidence, either. Only 21 still and seems to be making his own way, which might be a good thing rather than getting subsumed by the Ineos sausage machine.
Ineos have signed 1 of the Yates brothers!
It's a great bike IMO - but you just need to ride it to see how the geometry feels, would this be possible? Not round the car park, either - a proper ride.Ok, nerds, is a CAAD13 too aggressive for a first road bike? I have a friend who sells bikes and he confirms this is a nice bike/setup, although he prefers something tamer for me (specifically a Domane AL 5 disc, or a Specialized gravel bike), especially a wider softer wheel/tire than the 26s on the Cannondale. Then again the Trek is not available until August and I can get the CAAD13 today it seems, and nobody, especially Yanks like me, like waiting 8 months for anything.

It's not got a crazy aggressive geometry or anything but it is a race bike, certainly there are more relaxed designs out there that would have you sitting up more. But it's 100% down to you and your body - road bike fit is really important as you don't shift position much so it has to be spot on.
Be aware though that you can go down the rabbit hole researching the perfect fitting road bike - if it's your first one then you have no personal frame of reference, so something to be said for just taking the plunge with something good like the CAAD13 and getting the show on the road.

Must admit I’m a non cyclist but look forward every year to the three Grand Tours , so I hope this goes ahead. Bought my Cycling Weekly TdF special , I tend to record every day on Eurosport and start watching late afternoon, fast - forwarding through the boring bits to usually catching the finish live. I know . Purist I ain’t!The Nice area is on red alert. Would seem something of a miracle if all three weeks of the race get completed.
