Gent-Wevelgem is crazy. First two hours with an average of 52.7 km/h. Echelons and only one Quickstep rider in it; and not one you'd want. It's already a final for 100 km's. Oh and Quickstep doesn't want to chase; they say it's up to the other teams since they've already won enough.

That's a heavy weight break as well. Hard to see them pulling that back if the break work together.

I think they will catch them now. 35 seconds and QS have started pulling. Lefevre did say in today's paper he wanted Viviani to win.

Does seem a mistake for Sagan to be out there in such a small group. Would be nice if someone else won - it's a bit silly having QS naming who on their team will win every single race of the season.

It was a bit odd that such a seemingly powerful break group were pulled back. Thought they had easily enough there, but I guess you need a few domestiques to do the grunt work that early in the race.

They only had one minute. On the Kemmel, you just have to put Stybar or Gilbert (as they did; or Van Avermaet etc; doesn't matter one very good cyclist will do) in front; and you can easily close a 1 minute gap. Before the Kemel the only teams that did something were Lotto and CCC.

They'll probably do it again on the second time; hence I have a bit of difficulty seeing why Rowe closed the gap on the flat ...

20 seconds or so now with QS pushing hard to bring it back for Viviani. It's looking all very inevitable.

Well now they have a bit of a problem since it's only Stybar/Gilbert. Basically because Richeze and Jakobsen ruined it early one. Saying that Jumbo should really do something; loads of men and they are doing relatively little.

Well that didn't work. He has bronchitis his participation on Sunday is in doubt.
The mighty MvdP showing some form yesterday Armel. Has to be in with an outside chance of Flanders, van Aert as well. If it comes down to a head to head with one of the veterans you'd probably say they won't have the experience to win, but if it's a more instinctive fluid race they might do it.
