So if 'de' means 'of' why aren't 'tour' and 'france' also in French?
Le Tour !!!

Apart from himself or a bad crash is anybody going to beat Froome??
TJ out with sickness. Not the most exciting of riders but a shame when anyone has to depart like that.

LOL at the culture-less boganIt is, isn't it? Tour is tour in French, and France is France in French. Giro d'Italia is in Italian and Vuelta a Espana is in Spanish.
seems like there's been a lot of chest/breathing problems this year - is that because of the very wet start and then super high temperatures on the flat stages?
perhaps lacking bottle would be the wrong term, in fact it certainly would, but is Froome known for being a bit jittery with wet decentsHe needs Thomas and Porte to not get dropped early on, Poels as well, otherwise he will be isolated really early and could be in a world of trouble.
Today's descent is very dangerous and it's going to be wet so if I was Froome I would take it easy on the descent with the buffer he has got.
