Do you mean fries? I have ketchup or sometimes BBQ sauce on it. Never heard of gravy or curry on fries. I have heard of cheese fries, but that is an American invention I'm sure.

Yeah . Used to be Gravy , but , having no Liver to speak of , Chippies , along with Boozers , have gone the way of my Youth .

It is . Along the lines of putting pure Honey on a fried Brekkie .

Gravy/Curry is a specifically Northern thing , I think you'll find .

If it's the same curry we have over here in Holland than it's definetely that. Had chips ith gravy before the West Ham game last season and tbh, I thought it was awful.
