If Lukaku gets injured or Mcarthy for a long period i think we will be lucky to stay up

McCarthy can be replaced by Besic, Cleverly, Gibson, Barry or Barkley. I think we will be OK.

However we are screwed if Rom gets injured.

Or even Deulofeu as the false 9 and play Lukaku and Mirallas as the two wide men.

One problem - Rom has basically said that he doesn't want to play on the wing again and I don't blame him.

So any diamond formation is pretty screwed.

That formation will struggle to get goals with both Besic and McCarthy in the team and Cleverly on the wing. It could however be useful in certain games that we just want to shut up shop and nick a 1-0.

Not sure on Barry, Martinez said he had to play a lot more than we'd have liked last season. I'm sure he'll still play quite a few games like but don't know if he'll be in his favoured starting XI.
