I voted for it to reopen. Then read the last few pages and changed my vote.

I think it’s a good resource for discussion mostly and at times is very educational. I also think that some people are just unaware about why what they say is wrong etc and being able to discuss and educate is important.

But, then I read the jokes people make and see some of the other comments (from people who are clearly aware) and just despair and think, you know what, Everton is depressing enough without needing additional space for bellends.

I felt like it was starting to become an issue in how I would react to people in other areas of the forum. I think if the idea is to have this as a wholly Everton forum, then we can do without.

I say keep it closed and instead just allow these topics in Ale House and if posters can’t be reasonable then ban them. Give the mods and @the sniderman full slaughter abilities to weed out our enemies.
