1)Media writing articles about popular musicians to make money shocker.
2)Rather than Hip-Hop promoting guns, don't you think that's more likely the NRA? I can't remember ever reading Hip-Hop moguls like Russell Simmons buying off senators to ensure weapons of war are sold in corner stores.
3)Maybe the social engineering that built communities in the worse areas with poor investment and infrastructure, overlaid with lack of opportunities and structural racism keeps the communities trapped in this is environment to continue the cycle of prisoners used as slaves.

over here in the UK the "poor investment and infrastructure" you mention is seen in places like Netherley, Cantril Farm (now renamed) in Liverpool and Castlemilk and many more "schemes" in Glasgow - nothing to do with race but the eternal attack and destabilisation of working class communities

the Establishment war on the "lower classes" is just that - the working class, no matter what colour/race

the "divide and conquer" rule will always be used against us

No I'm from the UK and fully aware of how the working class are treated by the Establishment. But I don't recall any Windrush for undocumented Europeans that have lived decades of their lives here- so that's not exactly the same, is it?
I take how you post that you like to look for different views and ideas? Maybe research the lead in the water in Flint, Michigan. Read up on Black Wall Street and what happened there. Read up on the Native Americans and what's happened to their land. Because if you are aware of these and you dismiss them then either you aren't able to comprehend or you have an ulterior motive for doing so.
