Here’s where we are as a country today . The court have just named the convicted murderer of schoolgirl Holly Newton . Holly’s murderer was convicted in August but named today. If you google Holly’s name , particularly before today the word ‘immigrant ‘ was often next to it with social media full of theories .
The identified killer is actually Holly’s ex boyfriend and and 18 year old called Jordan MacPhail. Unlike how I feel for Holly and her family I obviously don’t have any sympathy for the murderer but I suspect we’re now in a world where young offenders in serious or high crimes , often in the past protected by anonymity, will be named to placate the mob .
