Almost as if that story about him being penniless and denied a coutts account was complete bollocks.

And it makes me think of these ‘private vs public sector’ arguments, as if the private sector is the area which generates wealth for everyone, makes things, and produces stuff of value to everyone, whereas the public sector does that useless stuff like putting out fires and saving lives.

The private sector and the market gives Farage 100k a month. Clacton voters must be delighted with how much time he’ll have to devote to their constituency.

In a similar vein, and I'm possibly in the wrong thread here, but some of the arguments about the unions all clamouring for more now Labour have given a couple rises ignores corporate lobbying. Big business, either directly, through lobbyists, or trade bodies lobby govt for investment, tax incentives etc etc. Give to one...

I feel extremely sorry for those in Clacton who saw through his pathetic act and got let down by their peers

in a way the problem is not them they are clearly snake oil it is the bozos buying the snake oil. they make them happen. poor education and low iq and angry entitlement infect societies. we see this now in dyche threads. media needs to just cut snake oil out instead of using as news and normalizing snake oil.
You can't even sell snake oil these days without getting arrested
