Just saw a bunch of posts on Bluesky where folks had reanalyzed those data showing that it isn’t as divisive as claimed. Basically they are time-series data which are notoriously hard to paramertize and assign proper weighting schemes. Different runs of the same data show different trend lines.

He’s discussed this since as someone questioned him on it. Basically comes down the the different data sets used from what I can tell.

I’ve followed him for a while and he does seem to be pretty reliable when it comes to statistical analysis. But I can see how different data sets could present different outcomes.
