I really hope this tosser is roundly ignored.
Sadly the UK media has got a weird obsession with him. Same thing they had with 'Boris' for a decade where anything he did was considered newsworthy, and also the way in the US that Trump dominated the early part of the 2016 primaries and made it impossible for any other potential candidate to get enough exposure to move past him. Just look at the way that banking non-story became headline news a few months back.
Anyway, disappointing as it is that even a single person would nod along to his brand of 'politics', the silver lining of this particular toad-faced cloud is that he's going to be running as a spoiler for the Tories and boosting Labour (and to a lesser extent LD) chances in a lot of marginals.
