It’s amazing how many content creators, who got very famous and very rich via streaming and vid posting, but constantly claim to their audience to be completely independent, and will shout and scream about cancellation if their host removes a post or bans them.
The truth is, if you’re a YouTube content creator, you work for YouTube. They are your employer. They send you your paychecks. You’re answerable to their ToS. If you become bad for their business, they will drop you.
The likes of Crowder or Tim Poole or whoever, shout about sticking it to Big Tech and all that, but YouTube or Twitch or whichever platform it is, is their business daddy, make no mistake.
They know it, they just don’t want their audience to know it.

In all seriousness, you know how bad things with Tate are, when senior schools in the UK are having to sit all the boys down and tell them, that he`s not someone to be admired.
We have mainstream journos and podcasters telling them he is and that climate activism and autism are the true evils, they have all slunk away and no doubt delelted their tweets but the impact is already there.
Would never have described my dad as woke, but the amount of times growing up he shouted to turn off the lights “cos it’s like Blackpool in here”, must mean he was ahead of the woke curve.
