Sounds important. As I say I'm not up on US history, particular US-Cuban relations, so I'd like to know more.

Regarding crime, this analysis suggests it went up but the policy implications are important qualifiers on page 42.


And anyways, yes, I agree with you. No country should be another country's dumping ground for criminals. In the case of the Cubans, most of them were good people and law abiding, but as the paper points out, the key demographic was younger males some/many with felony records. This latter demographic appears to drive the increase in crime.

Cheers. Crime isn't a straightforward area with migrant populations either. Some will come with criminal intent, others get drawn in out of desperation, and some are exploited.

But Tate is a bad tit. The worst kind of migrant who had bad intentions, the scrote.
