The historic term and current term are completely different mate. The Right have labelled anyone left of centre "woke" in recent times which as a result anyone Left leaning now incorrectly label themselves woke as some badge of honour in defiance.
The Far Right are more of a danger in the short term as they often will engage in acts of quick violence - however the woke in sheeps clothing will play the long game and infiltrate vulnerable minds via social media, the education system, encouraging cancel culture and removal of freedom of expression, speech and thought which is a step on the road to fascism.
Both are as bad as one another.
