On what basis do you say that "science is not a consensus"? Where do you arrive at this silly conclusion.

1/The issue of planes flying empty was between you and another poster, not me. I don't care, nor do I have expertise to give you an exact answer.

the "empty planes" issue is germane to this biscuit. - you whinge about "zero emissions" yet can`t be bothered to spend one minute to find out that commercial airlines fly empty planes to keep their flight slot so they don`t get gazumped and lose their route -you think you need to be an "expert" to know of this travesty?

limit your car diesel emissions and go on your bike while planes burn millions of gallons of subsidised jet fuel solely to retain their flight slot!!

the irony is - you asked me yesterday how i contributed to the solution as regards to Attenborough - you and other alarmists like X Rebellion could literally make a difference tomorrow by campaigning and publicising the "empty planes" scandal - but no, the emphasis is on Joe Public and how to limit the general population.

consensus means by general agreement - science is never settled
