I'm sorry I can live with players not being very good, but I'm not having "experienced" first team players being scared to block a cross and turning their back, literally turning the other way when a cross is coming in. Disgraceful that. Kenny absolutely puts him to shame, heart of a lion on him.

I sat down to watch that game today intent on keeping a close eye on Cuco to see if I was wrong and all the fellows posting in here saying he had been playing well recently were right.

I see some of our friends on here saying that even today he played well.

Ali's I can say is that I am not inclined to change my mind.....that guy has no business playing for Everton in the EPL.

We all know he’s not the standard of player we should have signed, but he didn’t sign himself, Koeman did! The same man who started the season without any cover for an aging Leighton Baines with 2 games a week to play.

Yes, he nearly cost us when tried to be cute to avoid a corner, but apart from that he gave 100%. If he can help up keep 2 more clean sheets before the Jan window, that’s all you can ask.

Stuck to his task admirably in the second half.
He's a very limited footballer, playing on the wrong side of the pitch because Baines is injured, and today, he played to the very best of his ability.

It's easy to say he's a crap player, because, well, by Premier League standards he pretty much is, but he can do no more than his best.

I think he’s a good backup for us. It just feels like he’s going to make that critical error that leads to a concession every game he’s out there though. I’ll say that he’s improved under Allardyce, as have all of our defenders.

I get he’s no Ashley Cole, but he’s playing out of position and was only ever supposed to be a squad player. As for the “critical error” comment, we’ve conceded twice in the last seven games. He played in six of those (not against Limassol) and of the two goals we conceded, the one against Swansea was a dead ball where he wasn’t marking the scorer and the on against the RS was him being beaten by Salah, one of the top three performers in the league this season. It’s overly harsh to say he’s always going to concede us a goal when at the very worst he’s been responsible for one of the two goals we’ve conceded in his last six games.
