I've gone through it before but we've always been a club that prides ourselves on our academy and the development of young players. Koeman cut that off, albeit with a benefit of our highest league finish but our fans/board were never truly in love with Koeman due to it.

Sure you'll see the same thing with the likes of Holgate and Davies.

You might be right. Up to now though Holgate has played every game i think.

Essentially though, whilst you may pride yourself on the academy, you can't deny that he did a very good job for you. You've now replaced him with a manager with nowhere near the reputation in world football. It may pay off, it may not.

No denial of the job he did here, he took us to the next level and we're appreciative of that. He's a great manager but his ethics don't suit Southampton and whilst sad to see him leave in the way he did, all I'm saying is the majority of us weren't angry/sad about it.
