Well we've had 5 youngsters cover RB from the end of last season to now and all did reasonably well. - Connolly, Pennington, Kenny, Davies and Holgate. Pennington injured, Davies not really a RB but Kenny certainly is. A waste of time and money for me , it'll be another Gibson/McGeady type signing , done as a cheap option but not adding to the quality of the squad and eventually just blocking the way of a youngster when he's given a run out in a low key game. We should concentrate money and resources on buying quality players in key positions .

Go back to the beginning of pre-season and see how many people were demanding a back-up rb as proriity hahah

We need RB cover, yes Holgate has done a decent job, infact a very good job, but hes not a natural RB, having an actual RB play would benefit us more. Think most people are against this fella cos of how much hes costing.

Very true on the spending, with less than a week left in the window, nothing seems concrete. The closest I felt since Bolasie was Ghezzal but he snubbed us

Well this fella is expected to sign later on today, then of course theres a few other pretty solid links brewing, but Ghezzal seemed pretty solid, what will be will be.
