I turned it off at 2-0, saw on Twitter the third happened, then went into my well practiced "Ignore Liverpool" routine and watched UFC vids.

Then my brother phoned me as said "seen what's happened?" "no" "watching the Liverpool game?" "well... I was like, just hope it's stays like that and they don't get about 10" "so, you turned it off?" "yeah" "put it back on mate."

Turned it back on, 89 minutes gone, 3-3.

Then that chance fell to Moses and I was about to plant the remote control through the telly if that went in.

Told my brother, in that situation, don't phone me until the whistle has blown as I am a bad, bad jinx ffs

I think the fact quite a lot us switched off when Liverpool were winning or didn't watch it all had something to do with the result

I'm massively superstitous like that though

Seriously, to the point it's almost crippling sometimes
Me too mate.

If I'm sat in a certain position, (at home or the game), when we score then I have to stay in that position, otherwise it's my fault if they score.

One of the most cringeworthy things about modern day football supporting is the empowerment of mouthy buggers like this guy to spout a load of bollox on YouTube.

I have seen an Arsenal guy and a United one do the same thing.

You just know boys like that sit throughout the match composing their rant and let's be honest, a defeat suits them better because they can show their "Pashtun" better.

I mean, a proper fan of any club would have been way too devastated after a defeat like that to be poncing around yelling into a mike outside a pub.

I just hope there is no Everton equivalent of this berk and if there is, I would stick the mike up his hole if he came near me after a night like that :pint2:
LOL this made me chuckle

Hahahaha

Let's just say we lost to Villareal not because of Collina but because my housemate at the time came in and turned the lights on.

I've never ever let him forget this.

Im riddled with superstitions mate, used to be my ma being in the house if we were playing, so she ended up having to go shopping every match day, now its the dog has to wear one of my old everton tops as she did for the united away game onwards and forgot for sunderland... So yeah im superstitious a little
