No, he came on for Gomes after he got his foot trod on, I think. He'd only had about 3 training sessions and looked, unsurprisingly, a bit lost.

It's a hateful place to get to, isn't it? First time I went there, I think it was a steam engine that got us into Euston and the transfer down to the south bank was an utter nightmare!

Who are a hard side to play against, they're an established Premier League side, we aren't entitled just to turn up and win. Have we ever beaten them 'at a canter'?

Apropos nothing, the three biggest false conspiracy theories in the world concern the Kennedy assassination, the moon landings and getting to Selhurst Park. It is within walking distance of three main line railway stations, all of which connect to main London termini.

Palace are no mugs and neither is their manager. They will be clever, keep a good shape and play to their players strengths.
I’m not saying we defo won’t beat them, but these won’t just roll over and are more than capable of holding their own against some of the best teams.
