how did he not have significant influence? Don't palace have a board and they all get a vote? Textor gets a vote. That's significant influence in my book.
Selling them or blind trust is the same for UEFA. He gives up his influence. It was an easy fox to do. You didn't do it, i suspect because you didn't seriously expect to win it.
Your club is to blame. Other clubs got their house in order. You simply didn't
Oh, so not UEFA rules now but what it says in your book is the defining factor. Perhaps you could post up the details of your book to allow for adequate scrutiny. You have not read the Board constitution of CPFC and so you are unable to confirm how the Board works. You are merely making assumptions.
Sale and putting shares in a blind trust is not the same thing at all, in one ownership is retained and in the other it is not. UEFA have separate rules for each. The rules, such as they are, which you seem to be on barely nodding acquaintance with, were designed to cover clubs in multiple ownership. Palace are not in multiple ownership. An owner of an MCO Group was an investor in Palace. He had no operational role and could only express opinions. His lack of influence was a factor in him deciding to sell his shares - he said so himself, months ago, before any of this arose.
Frankly mate, the rules, such as they are, are neither fit for purpose, nor what you want them to be.
