I keep thinking of those three last second goals we have conceded in the last three matches; would it have been different if JOB and Branthwaite had been our CB's - me thinks we would have had an extra four points and been right in contention for a CL's spot for next season.
It would have been different if there was an ounce of leadership and brain power among our players. I criticise Moyes because this is his team and these are his selections, but they've exposed themselves as players in these last three games.

Hope he starts with the same team as against City..think Beto is the better option to start with Barry better when there might be more room later in the game. Although Roll is not a wide player in a game we should attack more his performance deserves another start

Also Moyes attained a solid 31 points last season arriving in the second half of the season with an inferior squad to this current one, so he created the expectations for a decent finish to the current season. He should be building of his success of last season especially with further investment
Absolutely Curtis

What were your expectations before the season started.
Where did you predict us to finish ?
I am sorry but where we hoped and where we really could have been are not the same . We have improved at least in the worry stakes but we are not in the position we could / should be ,not by many points .We have more points than we needed to be safe ,yes , but how many have we lost due to Moyes and his opposition to young untried players ,Aznou came on and was a shining light -was he ready ? Perhaps not -but was he exciting ? yes for sure .Never to play again this season ? That is just one example .

I don't get the low expectations argument, I mean you don't make a statement signing like Jack Grealish without expecting to challenge higher up the table. Even Moyes admitted he was targeting Europe this season so why would fans be happy to accept mid-table? It's no wonder we've been mediocre for so long with that kind of mindset
Yep
Mediocrity breeds more mediocrity.

Same with JOB at CB, Merlin, Aznou, Tim; he's safety picking experienced, slow as a tugboat defenders and midfielders has killed us.

Keane, Tarkowski, JOB at RB, Barry starting and Gana playing 95 plus minutes in almost every match.

Just poor.
