7 points from our last three minimum is all that really helps us for Europe - on current form I’m not sure we have that in our locker
Thing is we should be feeling that we can get 9 points from these games. Palace haven't been good in the league and have bigger fish to fry. Sunderland are solid but unspectacular and it is our last home game. Spurs have been awful all season, and, despite picking up in the last few games, are ravaged by injury. If we have something to play for, we should be confident, but not complacent, of getting three points. However, I suspect that even if we get 6 points from the next 2 games, we will go with Moyes' bottle job mentality and get turned over.

Hope I'm wrong. But it is a trait of Moyes to make teams better overall but bottle the really important games.

Palace's mind might be on other things, but saying they haven't been good in the league ignores the fact they're only two points behind us if they win their game in hand. Sunderland are equal on points with us, albeit having played a game more, but they were much better than us at HD. Spurs will probably not be mathematically safe before that match so they may well be fighting for their lives. None of these games are bankers (not that any game is a banker where we are concerned).

West Ham was our 1st loss away to an inferior placed team since Leeds 1st game of season,we should of got something from both games. We seem to have an identity to playing away, unlike at home were we struggle ot come onto teams.I expect us to win tomorrow and therein lies the problem,if there was nothing riding on these games like the end of last season, coasting to 3 wins on the spin,i would be more confident than the fact we need a win to keep the outside hope of Europe alive...

Motes will be pop corning the fans tomorrow:
Back 4 remains unchanged, McNeil recalled in place of Rohl,
But Barry kept in the XI
It has been foretold….
Couple of goals or not I’ll be very surprised if Moyes watched both those performances and wants to start Barry over Beto - Beto put in a very hard working Moyes-striker performance

Be really stupid to put McNeil in for Rohl too but I can see that as somewhat more likely

Everyone expecting Palace to be on the beach, but I suspect that might be us.

Players absolutely love to drop their levels. Are they gonna bust a gut for the outside chance of Europa conference league? Not convinced.
