I know, its terrifying me. I haven't even scratched the surface on this. I won't be digging further.there seems to be a very worrying trend with your posts, its very disconcerting!
Bitcoin is just a brand like iPhone, fairly easy to understand that. There are hundreds of mobile phone brands but at present, the iPhone is the market leader. There are thousands of crypto brands of which bitcoin is the biggest player now. People can choose to buy or avoid either because they have a choice. Not sure people are or will be interested in the so called ‘safety net’ of a currency that depreciates at the rate of 20% p/a. Sounds like more of a death trap to me.
iPhones lol
The Norwegian blue?Do you know what a parrot is?
It would be buying gold electronically.why not just buy gold or will these be like gold (paper) etfs?
Mate I dont think you understand that people simply want nothing to do with a central currency - this kind of digitization of fiat which is exactly what it is make no mistake, will only serve to strengthen decentralized alternatives.Bitcoin is just a brand like iPhone, fairly easy to understand that. The Bank of England is already in the process of moving into crypto. If it is adopted as the new payment method it doesn't really matter what it sounds like to you or me, we'd just adapt to it.

The digital pound
We are looking at the case for issuing a digital pound. This type of money is known as a central bank digital currency (CBDC). It would not replace cash.www.bankofengland.co.uk
Not is it backed, by gold for example.2 reasons why bitcoin will succeed over digitilized central currencies.
1.the same idiots who make the decisions now will be making the same decisions (decentralization)
2.bitcoin is scarce with limited supply, the same central banks will print unlimited tokens!
That is quite a statement, mate! I would imagine that the majority of people do not even think about central currency let alone have an opinion on them.Mate I dont think you understand that people simply want nothing to do with a central currency - this kind of digitization of fiat which is exactly what it is make no mistake, will only serve to strengthen decentralized alternatives.
yes in my day to day life I will continue to use fiat but that doesn’t mean it’s true value gets exposed in other ways
it wont happen, because governments (especially this one) like to print their way out of wars, pandemics etc etcNot is it backed, by gold for example.
It was raised around this https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/crypto-currency-if-banned-from-ca.112633/post-8781124it wont happen, because governments (especially this one) like to print their way out of wars, pandemics etc etc
wheres all the gold coming from for a bankrupt country like greece or argentina to back their currency with gold!
so this is a ico for a centralised gold backed shitcoin!
China has clearly been implementing a gold strategy for a long time. They definitely have their eye on supplanting the dollar and gold seems to be their primary weapon. There is plenty out there about it.so this is a ico for a centralised gold backed shitcoin!
My backside? Mate you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm 33.75% where are you getting those figures from - your backside?
I never realised bitcoiners are here to save the world. My sincere apologies. I think you have some apologising to do also @LinekersLegsMate I dont think you understand that people simply want nothing to do with a central currency - this kind of digitization of fiat which is exactly what it is make no mistake, will only serve to strengthen decentralized alternatives.
