I'm only sharing what I've been told second-hand admittedly but I definitely don't think any local people, even the bouncers, were the instigators of most of that last night. We Scousers are a friendly bunch, if people come here for a good time and some banter we usually welcome them with open arms.
You're right about the scousers being a "friendly bunch" Paul, speaking as a City fan, I can still remember the smiles on their faces as I ran for my life towards Lime St. on more than one occasion circa 1970/80!! Good luck tonight.

i hate racism and will pull people up on it but calling someone racist for saying they are an ' italian slime ball' isnt really racist, its a horrible turn of phrase i agree but not technically racist.

I remember my old man saying it to my mum a few years ago that Italians dont get freckles cos they slide off...........my mum pulled him up on it and i agreed with her but technically its streotyping not racist.
Must...... not....... laugh...... lollollollollol

Yeah, pal, us cheeky chappy Scousers with our big smiles and 'hey you gotta laugh', we love everyone, no bother from us, we're just the comical little Scousers

Jesus tonight, I can’t cope lol

On my dinner today in town and a load of their fans were being pulled out the William Gladstone pub in handcuffs, someone said they where starting to kick off in there, one got led out in cuffs and the bizzy was holding his jacket for him

Their lucky its our police, if it was Evertonians over there then his coat would of been launched into the road while being booted up the arse
